Recorded in a month, while caring for my mom, this “bedroom” project is a reflection on fear, mortality, confusion about life and the times we currently live in. I wanted the songs to reflect what I needed for myself at the time, so I created sparse, slow, open arrangements and songwriting. This EP is simply a statement of sadness, fear, and maybe, hopefully, a little hope.
A few months ago I collaborated with amazing film maker Melinda James, creating music for a short film that was showcased at Tatyana Fazlalizadeh’s exhibit in Oklahoma called Oklahoma is black. The short got picked up by BlackStar Film Festival and was premiered in Philadelphia on Aug 3rd!
